i HOPE SOMEONE ON THIS FORUM CA HELP ME TUNE/UNDERSTAND CERTAIN TABLES IN THE EDIT. 2001 C-5- A4-LS-1....10.9/1 COMP...H/C PACKAGE 224/230-585-592/114LS..SMALL HOLE DRILLED IN TB. KOOKS LT HEADERS,"X" N/C..CORSA PACE..COLD RAM AIR INTAKE. WOT IS RUNNING AT 12.9 STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW. TIMING IS AT 26DEG FROM 2500RPM UP.DYNO'D AT... 413RWHP...387 RWTQ... THE PROBLEM I AM HAVING IS WITH START UP COLD AS WELL AS HOT...ON COLD START UP THE CAR WILL FART AND POP LIKE CRAZY (VERY LOAD)FOR 30 SEC UNTIL IT REACHES 80DEG WT THEN IT SMOOTHS OUT NICE. WHEN THE ENGINE IS HOT ...IF I SHUT IT OFF FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME ...SAY..5MIN, WHEN I START IT ...THE CAR WILL FIRE RIGHT UP THEN LOAD UP AND STALL UNLESS I HOLD THE RPM'S AT 1500 FOR 5-10 SECONDS. I ALSO DO HAVE 38LB INJECTORS IN IT...I KNOW THEY ARE TO BIG, BUT I HAD THEM BRAND NEW AND THREW THEM IN BECAUSE I ASSUMED THE FACTORY SIZE (24/26LBS) WOULD NOT ACCOMODATE 500HP GROSS. THE PROPER TABLE HAS BEEN SCALED FROM THE 26'S TO THE 38'S, WHAT OTHER TABLES SHOULD I ADJUST? CAN YOU GIVE ME AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT THE TABLE/S WILL LOOK LIKE AFTER. IS MY TIMING RIGHT FOR THIS COMBO? GIVE EXAMPLE IF NOT. WE HAVE ALSO EDITED THE TRANS AND I HOPE IT LASTS, THE PRESSURES HAVE BEEN INCREASED SIGNIFICANTLY AS WELL AS PART THROTTLE SHIFT POINTS(INCREASED MPH POINTS BY 12%) DRIVES LIKE A STANDARD NOW AS WEL AS DOWN SHIFTS ARE REALLYNICE AND FIRM...JUST DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE TABLES/CELLS SHOULD LOOK LIKE???EVEN THOU IT SEEMS TO SHIFT/WORK WELL. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP WITH THIS AND POSSIBLY SHARE A FILE SIMILAR TO MY CAR THAT WILL GIVE ME A BASELINE TO START AND COMPARE TO...I DO NOT WISH TO KNOW ANYONES..."QUOTE" SECRET RECIPE I AM TIRED OF CHASING MY TAIL AND DO NOT WISH TO BLOW MY TRANS OR KEEP ON FLUSHING MY ENGINE WITH FUEL. I know it's been a while..and you may not see this...but have you tried downloading a similar file for ls1edit from the ls1edit file page? there are plenty of file setups on there for you to take a peak at. I was told by a pretty reputable tuner that the less you do to the PCM the better. This was done after I listened to all of the advice on the net and changed everything in the PCM.
